Iconic

Tonight is the opening for Wonderland's two year anniversary show "Iconic." I'll have a new piece, my take on the devil, and a couple "old" ones from my Minna show on display. Should be a great time - congrats Irene on another successful year!

La Jungla

Opening for "La Jungla" on Friday at Wonderland SF. Great turnout and it's always nice when people want to take the art home! Very happy that I squeezed in time to do a new piece. It dovetailed nicely with some of the work I'm doing for 111 Minna so it serves as a sneak peek for All the Go Inbetweens, opening April 6th.

BW+M&C...

A few shots from the show on Friday. Lots of folks the whole night, the only "closeup" I managed is of my work.

On view through November 21 at Wonderland.

Opposites

The show "Opposites" opened at Wonderland last Wednesday but things have been so busy I'm just now getting around to the pictures. Each artist was asked to do a little wall installation that tied into their work. I opted for the simple route (around a fresh new piece) but some were extremely ornate and I think the variety makes for a pretty compelling show.

It's up for six weeks I believe. (2929 24th Street, SF CA 94110)

My Wonderland

My Wonderland is sex in a foggy carnival. Like clicking through a ViewMaster while riding a roller coaster. Each thought of Wonderland is quickly overtaken by then next. Glances within opulent structures, flying across foreign landscapes. I wanted to create a space filled with fragmented emotions and I wanted it to be a little overwhelming. Euphoric and dizzy. And as a Wonderland is a human construction, I also wanted it to be a little dark and creepy.

Impacto

I'm included in a group show opening tomorrow at Wonderland in the Mission. Today I got a sneak peak of the rest of the work and I'm stoked to be along side all that talent. Should be a great show.
