Sun in an Empty Room

I'll be up in Seattle this Thursday, June 9th for the artists' reception of Sun in an Empty Room: Ode to Hopper at ArtsWest in West Seattle. If you can't make it, the show will be up all month, and if you just aren't in Seattle you can see the new work online (sometime this week.) Can't wait to swap the San Francisco rain for some Seattle sun!??

My Wonderland

My Wonderland is sex in a foggy carnival. Like clicking through a ViewMaster while riding a roller coaster. Each thought of Wonderland is quickly overtaken by then next. Glances within opulent structures, flying across foreign landscapes. I wanted to create a space filled with fragmented emotions and I wanted it to be a little overwhelming. Euphoric and dizzy. And as a Wonderland is a human construction, I also wanted it to be a little dark and creepy.

Wonderland Anniversary

One year anniversary for Wonderland tonight, 6-10pm down in the Mission. I got a sneak peak of the show yesterday and I'm proud to be one of the sixty artists paying tribute to Irene and her awesome store.

Art, art, then bed

Another weekend packed with art. Chillin' was an experience, almost overwhelming with the amount of art on display and clothing and jewelery designers on hand. Good show all around, I enjoyed it as much as possible on almost no sleep!

Chillin'

ArtPad last weekend, now Chillin'! I'll have a least one new piece and some select old stuff at Mezzanine on Saturday May 28th. Should be some good things to see with 200 different artists and 80 fashion designers.

Tons of great art to see in the Tenderloin at the campy Phoenix. Had a great time Thursday night - the art party continues through Sunday.

ArtPad SF this week! I'll have some new paintings in the 111 Minna room. The party starts Thursday night May 19th for VIP's - regular folk can come Friday through Sunday.
